Johnstown Location

The Shoemaker Monument Company was established in 1970 by Richard L. Shoemaker to provide quality sales, service, and installation of granite memorials to the people of Blairsville and the surrounding communities. In 2008, Shoemaker purchased Wyse Cemetery Memorials in Mundy’s Corner (near Johnstown) from the Wyse family, who founded the business in 1947. In 2011, a new workshop was constructed, complete with all the necessary equipment to allow the Shoemakers to have total care of the memorials from sandblasting to installation.
